The Lodge is single story and was originally built in the 1850s as part of a grand residence owned by local gentry.
It has been completely renovated and modernised to form a perfect home from home holiday retreat.

The Lodge is situated only yards from OSBORNE HOUSE, Queen Victoria's favourite home.

The Osborne Golf Club, with its superb nine hole course, is within walking distance, and visitors are made welcome there.

Pub, restaurant and shop are within 50yds, and the town centre of East Cowes with its shopping centre is within half a mile.

THE LODGE is close to the River Medina, and the yachting centre of COWES is just across the river.
There are lovely country and riverside walks close by, and OSBORNE is ideally situated for visiting the many and varied Isle of Wight attractions and places of interest, both scenic and historical. Enjoy a trip through the past on the Island Steam Railway or visit the theme park at Blackgang Chine.
Visit the sandy beaches at Ryde, Sandown and Shanklin, or explore the Islands rugged DINOSAUR beaches and discover dinosaur fossils for yourself.

From the esplanade at East Cowes you can obtain a close view of ocean liners as they turn to enter Southampton Docks, or watch the yachting regattas which continue all summer long.
Alternativly you can just relax in the private lawned garden, watch the birds and enjoy the scent of the shrubs and flowers.
The garden is particularly safe for children, being totally enclosed.

There is ample private off road parking for two cars.
